One must not, I say again, must not choose a field according to job scenario as far as engineering is concerned. Nobody gets success if put in an out-of-interest branch. So you have to go in E & TC.

for a monostable multivibrator,output will always be stable state. when it is triggered externally it goes quasi stable. It will stay there for time period determined by circuit components. After that output will comeback to its original stable state.

That is because of the IC Manufecturing method. The VLSI of the IC happens in such a way that it is difficult to place the same-port pins together. So many electrical and elcectronics theories are the causes.

For example, if Pin 1.0 is PWM pin, then Pin 1.1 may be ADC pin and Pin 2.4 may be another PWM Pin with the same channel as 1.0. So they place 1.0 and 2.4 together in order to crunch hardware.

Yes, MAX232 is compatible for 8051 family.

MAX232 works on 5 V. All 8051 Controllers work at 5 V. The prime goal of MAX232 is to convert TTL level of Controller to RS-232 level.

  1. Establish UART based Serial Connection between 8051 and GSM. You have to write a GSM library for that.
  2. Send you data to GPRS Server through GSM. There are ‘AT’ commands for that for SIM900.
  3. Integrate Cloud with GPRS.
